Abstract:
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention are a method for managing a network address translation NAT gateway, and a server, the method comprising: a server receives a request command of a first tenant network requesting a NAT gateway service; on the basis of the request command, the server selects a pair of main and standby cloud hosts from a pre-established plurality of pairs of main and standby cloud hosts; and the server configures the pair of main and standby cloud hosts such that the pair of main and standby cloud hosts establishes a communication channel with the first tenant network, in order to provide a NAT gateway service to the first tenant network. Using the present solution can save the time for the tenant network to create a gateway from requesting the NAT gateway service to completing the NAT gateway service, thereby increasing the efficiency of the NAT gateway service.
