Abstract:

For load distribution to a plurality of servers, a server load distribution apparatus selects a hash source for a uniform resource locator (URL) obtained from a client, and applies a preset hash function to the selected hash source. Also, the server load distribution apparatus selects one of the plurality of servers according to the hash value on the basis of the hash result obtained by the application of the hash function, and connects the client to the selected server.
