Abstract:
The invention concerns a method for manually centering an ophthalmic lens comprising steps which consists in : a) by way of calibration, acquiring and storing the shadow of a predefined geometrical figure (124B) arranged on a transparent support (124) interposed between illuminating means (S) and acquiring means (C), when said support is illuminated alone, the geometrical figure having a maximum overall dimension between 2 and 10 mm, b) superimposing said ophthalmic lens and said support, c) acquiring and storing the shadow of said geometrical figure deflected by said ophthalmic lens when said ophthalmic lens and said support are jointly illuminated, d) acquiring with the acquisition means the shadow of the centering and/or focusing mark (PC) of the ophthalmic lens to be centered (103) when it is illuminated by said illuminating means, e) displaying on a visualizing screen (105) the shadow of the centering and/or focusing mark of the ophthalmic lens and a virtual centering target (CC) corresponding to the desired position of the centering mark of the lens relative to a reference point (CB) of the circle (200) of the frame, f) deducing the prismatic deflection of the measured geometrical figure by comparing the acquisitions obtained at steps a) and c), a corrected relative position (Cbc) of the reference point of the frame circle relative to the centering mark, or inversely g) manually causing the shadow of the centering mark of the lens and the virtual centering target to coincide.
