Abstract:
This method for manufacturing an absorbent article includes: a main body transporting step (S1) of transporting a continuous main body (C10) in which front ends and rear ends of absorbent bodies are adjoined; a cutting step (S3) of cutting the continuous main body and obtaining absorbent bodies (10); a waist transporting step (S4) of transporting a continuous waist body (C20, C30); and a main body disposing step (S5) of rotating the absorbent bodies and disposing the absorbent bodies on the continuous waist body. In the main body disposing step (S5), after adjoining absorbent bodies are rotated in opposite directions, front ends (10F) of the absorbent bodies are disposed in a region (C20) on a front waist area side of the continuous waist body and rear ends (10R) of the absorbent bodies are disposed in a region (C30) on a rear waist area side of the continuous waist body.
