METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING AIR PURIFYING FILTER IMPREGNATED WITH CELLULOSE AND/OR POWDER ACTIVATED CARBON
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/216861
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an air purifying filter using, as a support, a non-woven fabric formed of a synthetic fiber and having pores and, more specifically, to method for manufacturing an air purifying filter, the method comprising: a process for coating the non-woven fabric with a hydrophilic coating agent; and at least one of a cellulose impregnation process and a powder activated carbon impregnation process, wherein, in the cellulose impregnation process, a cellulose blended with water is filled in pores of the non-woven fabric and then is frozen and vacuum-dried, whereby the pores are impregnated with the cellulose and, in the powder activated carbon impregnation process, a powder activated carbon blended with a solution in which a binder is dissolved in a volatile hydrophilic organic solvent is filled in pores of the non-woven fabric and then is dried at a predetermined temperature, whereby the pores are impregnated with the powder activated carbon.
