Abstract:
The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide an article manufacturing method which achieves a high degree of waterproofness by preventing wrinkles or gaps from occurring when attaching an adhesive tape to members of various shapes such as planes, curved surfaces, and three-dimensional shapes. The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an article which is adhered via an expanding object of an adhesive tape, the method being characterized by having: a step [1] for arranging end sections of two or more adhesive tapes having an expandable adhesive layer (A) so that the end sections are close to each other, and adhering one surface side of the adhesive tape to a portion (c1-1) that constitutes an adherend (C1); a step [2] for adhering the other surface side of the adhesive tape to another adherend (C2); a step [3] for applying stimulation to the expandable adhesive layer (A); and a step [4] in which the expandable adhesive layer (A) expands due to the stimulation to form an expanded adhesive layer (A1).
