Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing artificial leather and, more particularly, is characterized by comprising the steps of: (a) manufacturing a polyethylene film by mixing high-density polyethylene and low-density polyethylene; (b) preheating the polyethylene film manufactured in step (a) using a preheating apparatus; and (c) passing a base paper between a heating roll and an embossing roll of a heat lamination apparatus and performing heat lamination on the base paper, wherein the base paper is selected from the group consisting of the polyethylene film preheated through step (b), paper, fabric, and nonwoven fabric. According to the method for manufacturing artificial leather of the present invention, there are effects of it being possible to sufficiently laminate the base paper consisting of polyethylene and paper, fabric, or nonwoven fabric by only heat lamination without the use of a binder harmful to the human body, thereby preventing the discharge of substances harmful to the human body, existing heat lamination equipment for PVC or PU being able to be used as it is, so that equipment costs can be reduced, and a process being simplified compared to a lamination process using a binder, so that product costs can be reduced. In addition, according to the method for manufacturing artificial leather of the present invention, there is an effect of being able to increase a heat lamination speed of the base paper consisting of polyethylene and paper, fabric, or nonwoven fabric to the same level or higher than a heat lamination speed of an existing PVC sheet paper, so that price competitiveness of a product can be further increased.
