Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing artificial soil particles which are not destroyed even when subjected to an external pressure or the like and which can be handled with ease while maintaining basic soil performance such as water retention. A method for manufacturing artificial soil particles, the method including: a preparation step for mixing a porous filler, an ion-reactive gelling agent, a setting material, and water, and preparing a raw material slurry; a granulation step for adding the raw material slurry dropwise into a polyvalent metal ion aqueous solution, causing gelling of the droplets of the raw material slurry, and producing granules; a recovery step for recovering the granules; and a reinforcing step for subjecting the granules to a drying process, thereby setting and reinforcing the granules.
