Title:
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING BACTERIUM-PRODUCED CELLULOSE CARBON
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/203173
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing a bacterium-produced cellulose carbon having a sufficient specific surface area and high mechanical strength. The method for manufacturing a bacterium-produced cellulose carbon, whereby a bacterium-produced cellulose is carbonized by a heat treatment, comprises: cellulose formation step S1 for forming a bacterium-produced cellulose wherein cellulose nanofibers are dispersed using a bacterium; impregnation step S2 for impregnating the bacterium-produced cellulose with a supercritical fluid; drying step S3 for vaporizing the supercritical fluid from the bacterium-produced cellulose containing the supercritical fluid to give a dried product; and carbonization step S4 for carbonizing the dried product by heating in an atmosphere where the dried product does not burn.
