Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a battery cooling apparatus, the method comprising the steps of: manufacturing a battery cooling module; manufacturing a plate-shaped lower body having a mounting groove part which is formed at a predetermined depth from the upper surface of the lower body, and has a shape corresponding to the shape of the battery cooling module; inserting the lower part of the battery cooling module into the mounting groove part of the lower body; and casting an upper body by inserting the lower body into an inner space of a die casting mold in the state where the battery cooling module is inserted, and pressing and injecting a molten casting material into the remaining upper part of the battery cooling module. Accordingly, each configuration position of the battery cooling apparatus may be precisely maintained even under the injection pressure of the molten casting material during insert die casting, and thus product reliability may be enhanced by preventing product defects due to changes in the insert configuration positions that may occur during die casting.
