Abstract:

Provided is a bottle-shaped can suitable even for highly corrosive contents such as sparkling wine. This method of manufacturing bottle-shaped cans involves: a can body forming step for forming a bottomed cylindrical body from a cup formed by punching a coated metal sheet; a top dome forming step for forming the shoulder part and the neck part from the aforementioned bottomed cylindrical body; a curl/screw/bead forming step for forming, in the neck part, a curl part, a screw part, and an annular bead part; and a bottom lid seaming step for seaming the bottom lid to the can body. The method is also provided with a step for making amorphous the thermoplastic resin coating layer of the neck portion of the can body after the aforementioned curl/screw/bead forming step.
