The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a busbar for connecting batteries for an electric vehicle and, more particularly, to a method for manufacturing a busbar for connecting batteries for an electric vehicle, wherein the method enables easy manufacture of a busbar for electrically connecting a plurality of batteries used in an electric vehicle without defects. The method for manufacturing a busbar for connecting batteries for an electric vehicle of the present invention is a method for manufacturing a busbar electrically connecting batteries of an electric vehicle, and comprises: a cutting step of punching a metal plate into a busbar shape by means of a press to cut the metal plate; a deburring step of removing burrs formed at corner portions of the busbar in the cutting step; a masking step of covering a terminal portion formed on both ends of the busbar with a cap to mask the terminal portion; a coating step of forming an insulating coating layer on the outer peripheral surface of the busbar having both ends masked; a masking removal step of removing the cap covering both ends of the busbar; and a coating removal step of further removing a portion of the coating layer from a portion adjacent to the cap after removing the cap.
