Abstract:

A can 100 for a beverage is provided with a can body 200 that is formed in a cylindrical shape. A circular opening 210 is formed in a top section of the can body 200. Moreover, a base section 220 is provided in a bottom section of the can body 200. Moreover, the can body 200 is provided with an outer peripheral surface 230. An image is formed by inkjet printing around the entire periphery of the outer peripheral surface 230 of the can body 200 to form an inkjet image. Subsequently, an image is formed by plate printing on the inkjet image that has been formed to form an image that includes characters. Due to the foregoing, the quality of the image formed on the outer peripheral surface of the can for the beverage is increased.
