Abstract:
This method for manufacturing a carbon nanotube web includes: a step of preparing a carbon nanotube array that comprises multiple carbon nanotubes which are disposed on a substrate and are oriented perpendicular to the substrate; and a step of drawing out, from the carbon nanotube array, a carbon nanotube web in which multiple carbon nanotube single yarns, which are continuously connected multiple carbon nanotubes, are arranged in parallel in a direction intersecting with a direction in which the carbon nanotube single yarns extend. In the step of drawing out the carbon nanotube web, the drawing out position of the carbon nanotube web from the carbon nanotube array is maintained at the same position in the drawing out direction of the carbon nanotube web.
