Abstract:
Through the present invention, burr on pins of card clothing used in a slicker brush is removed, and rounding is imparted to the distal ends of the pins, whereby the feeling in use and safety of the slicker brush are enhanced, and pilling after use thereof is easily removed. The method according to the present invention has a first step for planting a plurality of metal wire pins in a backing and manufacturing a card clothing, and a second step for polishing the pins of the card clothing using a soft and elastic polishing material, the pins being polished by rubbing the pins while pressing the polishing material against the pins in the second step, and a card clothing being manufactured in which pin distal ends are burr-free and rounded.
