Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a casing of a turbocharger, the method comprising: a steam treatment step of subjecting at least one of a turbine housing and a bearing housing to steam treatment before the turbine housing, the bearing housing, and a compressor housing are assembled, and forming an oxide film on at least one of the turbine housing and the bearing housing; and an assembly step of assembling the turbine housing, the bearing housing, and the compressor housing.
