Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a centrifugal pump (1) that comprises: a housing (2) having a cover member (22) and a bottom member (21); a rotating body (3) rotatably received within the housing (2); and a support mechanism (4) for supporting the rotating body (3). The method has: an assembling step which assembles the bottom member (21) and the cover member (22) into an assembled state; and a joining step which, while the bottom member (21) and the cover member (22) are in the assembled state, joins the bottom member (21) and the cover member (22) together while pressing the bottom member (21) and the cover member (22) to each other in the direction in which the bottom member (21) and the cover member (22) approach each other.
