Abstract:
A method of manufacturing ceramic honeycomb formed bodies, wherein a forming raw material placed in a raw material flow path of a forming machine is pressurized and extruded from a forming die, which is fixed by a pressing member to one end of the forming machine and has forming grooves having a honeycomb structure, and after that the extruded material is cut into predetermined lengths to obtain the formed bodies having a honeycomb structure. The method has a step of removing a formed body remaining on that surface of the die which is on the forming groove side.
