Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a method for manufacturing a cesium adsorbent with no ferrocyanide precipitate even when a cesium adsorbent containing a ferrocyanide having high cesium adsorbing performance contacts contaminated salt-containing water having a low cesium-ion concentration.
[Solution] A method for manufacturing a cesium adsorbent characterized in causing a solid containing a poorly water-soluble ferrocyanide metal compound to first be contacted by a processing fluid containing an inorganic polymer flocculant, then by an alkali solution having a pH of 7-10, and/or by a processing fluid containing a surfactant.
