Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing a coated electric wire with a terminal with which it is possible to form an anti-corrosion film in a simple manner and in a short time in the manufacture of a coated electric wire with a terminal in which an electrical connection part between a terminal metal fitting and an electric wire conductor is to be coated by the anti-corrosion film. A method for manufacturing a coated electric wire 1 with a terminal having a terminal metal fitting 5 and a coated electric wire 2 in which the outer periphery of an electric wire conductor 3 is coated by an insulator 4, the terminal metal fitting 5 and the electric wire conductor 3 being electrically connected at an electrical connection part 6, and the electrical connection part 6 being coated by an anti-corrosion film 7, wherein the electrical connection part 6 is coated with an emulsion in which resin particles are dispersed in an aqueous dispersion medium, and the aqueous dispersion medium is then caused to evaporate, thereby forming the anti-corrosion film 7, which has adhesiveness that does not exhibit peeling in a cross-cut test conforming to JIS K5600 5-6 from materials constituting each of the terminal metal fitting 5, the electric wire conductor 3, and the insulator 4.
