Abstract:
According to the present invention, a magnetic core has a winding core section and first and second collar sections connected to end portions of the winding core section. First and second terminal electrodes are connected to a lead frame. The first collar section of the magnetic core is bonded to the first and second terminal electrodes. Third and fourth terminal electrodes are bonded to the second collar section. First and second insulation-coated conductive wires are wound around the winding core section. The first and second insulation-coated conductive wires are connected to the first, second, third, and fourth terminal electrodes. The lead frame is bent so as to rotate the magnetic core by 90° relative to the lead frame. A magnetic plate is bonded to the magnetic core. A common-mode choke coil is manufactured by separating the magnetic core from the lead frame by detaching the first and second terminal electrodes from the lead frame. With this method, a common-mode choke coil having stable electrical performance can be produced efficiently.
