Abstract:
The method for manufacturing a conjugated diene pertaining to an aspect of the present invention is provided with a step for bringing a starting material gas including an alkane into contact with a first catalyst and a second catalyst in this order and obtaining a product gas including a conjugated diene. In this manufacturing method, the first catalyst includes Sn and Pt, the Sn content in the first catalyst is less than 12% by mass on the basis of the entire mass of the first catalyst, the second catalyst includes Sn and Pt, and the Sn content in the second catalyst is 12% by mass or greater on the basis of the entire mass of the second catalyst.
