Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing a conveyor belt with which it is possible to manufacture a conveyor belt having excellent exterior appearance quality in which the surface is smooth and the adhesion of dirt is suppressed, while improving the work environment. Release sheets 5 having a water contact angle of 70° or more, a dynamic friction coefficient of 0.3 or less, and a sheet thickness of 0.2-0.4 mm, the surfaces of the sheets contacting a molded body 1A being smooth, are interposed between an upper cover rubber 3 and one heat plate 8a, and between a lower cover rubber 4 and another heat plate 8b; the release sheets 5 are placed in a state in contact with the upper cover rubber 3 and the lower cover rubber 4, and the molded body 1A is maintained in a state sandwiched and secured by the heat plates 8a, 8b for a prescribed amount of time and vulcanized; and the release sheets 5 are released from a conveyor belt 1 manufactured by vulcanizing the molded body 1A.
