Abstract:
Provided is a method that allows a curved glass plate having an excellent surface design to be manufactured. First and second ceramic paper (21, 22) is placed on a layout area (10a) so that the first ceramic paper (21) is interposed between the layout area (10a) and the top part (32) of a flat glass plate (30) while in contact with the flat glass plate (30), and so that the second ceramic paper (22) is interposed between the layout area (10a) and a curved glass plate (1) obtained in a deformation step, while in contact with the curved glass plate (1). The mean fiber length of ceramic fibers included in the first ceramic paper (21) is less than the mean fiber length of ceramic fibers included in the second ceramic paper (22), and the bulk density of the first ceramic paper (21) is greater than the bulk density of the second ceramic paper (22).
