Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a curved secondary battery having a target radius of curvature, the method comprising the steps of: (a) manufacturing a secondary battery by embedding an electrode assembly together with an electrolyte in a battery case, the electrode assembly including a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode; (b) first activating and degassing the secondary battery; (c) first hot pressing so that the degassed secondary battery has a first radius of curvature; (d) second activating the secondary battery that has undergone the first hot pressing step; and (e) second hot pressing so that the secondary battery having completed up to the first hot pressing has a first radius of curvature.
