Abstract:
Provided are a die-casting die (1) and a method for manufacturing a die-casting die (1), whereby a softening heat treatment can reliably be performed on a region including a bottom surface (4) of a water-cooling hole (2). A method for manufacturing a die-casting die (1) in which a bottomed water-cooling hole (2) having an inside diameter D is provided, wherein a hole surface (3) forming the water-cooling hole (2) has a bottom surface (4) forming the bottom of the water-cooling hole (2) and a side surface (5) extending from the bottom surface (4) toward an entrance (6), and the method has a heat treatment step for feeding superheated steam toward the bottom surface (4) from the distal end of a tube (10) having an outside diameter d inserted in the water-cooling hole (2), and heating and softening the bottom surface (4). Through this manufacturing method, this die-casting die (1) can be manufactured.
