Abstract:

A method of manufacturing a disk for variator, comprising the steps of finishing the outer peripheral surface (5) of an input disk (D1) with an input shaft (6) used as a machining reference in the state of the spline hole (4) of the input disk (D1) engaged with the input shaft (6), accurately finishing a route surface (2) with the outer peripheral surface (5) used as a machining reference, precisely forming the spline hole (4), with a tolerance provided thereto, by a broach (X) before a blank (B) is heat-treated, heat-treating the blank (B) for hardening, and precisely finishing the tooth faces (4a) of the spline hole (4) by a finishing broach (Y), wherein the route face (3) of the input disk (5) may be finished precisely with the tooth faces (4a) used as a machining reference.
