Abstract:
This method for manufacturing a display device includes: a first film-forming step for forming a photocatalytic layer (AL) on the upper side of a substrate (13); a second film-forming step for forming a resin layer (12) on the photocatalytic layer such that the resin layer is positioned inside of the edges of the photocatalytic layer in a plan view; a third film-forming step for forming a barrier layer (3) so as to cover the upper surface and the end surfaces of the resin layer; a fourth film-forming step for forming a TFT layer (4) as a layer higher than the barrier layer; and a peeling step for separating the photocatalytic layer (AL) and the resin layer (12) from each other by irradiating the photocatalytic layer with ultraviolet light (LV).
