Abstract:
The present invention includes: an imaging step for capturing an image of a display panel; a detection step for detecting a grayscale region in the image; a setting step for setting, in the surroundings of the grayscale region, a normal region that is not in grayscale; and an assessment step for using intensity values of regions included in the grayscale region, specifically a plurality of first regions (red), a plurality of second regions (green), and a plurality of third regions (blue), and intensity values of regions included in the normal region, specifically a plurality of first regions (red), a plurality of second regions (green), and a plurality of third regions (blue), to assess whether the grayscale in the grayscale region originates from a sub-pixel defect.
