Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing an eccentric container, the method comprising: a step for drawing a bottomed heated resin preform with a drawing rod; and a step for introducing a pressurized fluid into the preform placed in a mold, and blow-molding an eccentric container having a neck and a body, with the center axis of the neck being offset from the center axis of the body. The eccentric container has a flat shape in which the dimension in a first direction in a cross-section of the eccentric container is longer than the dimension in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. In a circumferential cross-section of the preform, the thickness of a first region corresponding to a surface extending in the first direction of the container is set to be greater than the thickness of a second region corresponding to a surface extending in the second direction of the container.
