Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an electrode for a lithium secondary battery, the method comprising the steps of: (S1) dry-mixing a conductive material and an electrode active material; (S2) dry-mixing the resulting mixture from step (S1) and a binder to prepare an electrode mix powder; and (S3) applying the electrode mix power to at least one surface of an current collector. According to an aspect of the present invention, an electrode is manufactured by coating a current collector with an electrode mix powder prepared without a solvent, resulting in no need for a separate drying process. Therefore, no surface migration phenomenon occurs in a binder and a conductive material applied on the electrode active material, so that the adhesive strength of the electrode does not deteriorate, with the consequent prevention of performance degradation in the lithium secondary battery.
