Abstract:
The purpose of the present disclosure is to provide a method for manufacturing an electrode plate for power storage apparatuses, and a coating apparatus, which are capable of reducing variation in thickness of a mixture layer in addition to achieving a higher capacity and higher productivity. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, a positive electrode mixture layer is formed on a belt-like positive electrode collector (15) by discharging a positive electrode mixture slurry from discharge nozzles (11a, 11b, 12a) corresponding to a plurality of discharge areas (50, 51, 52) extending in the longitudinal direction X on the positive electrode collector (15). Positions of the discharge areas (50, 51, 52) are set so as to form overlapped parts (60a, 60b) in which portions of the discharge areas (50, 51, 52) overlap portions of the discharge areas (50, 51, 52) adjacent to each other in the longitudinal direction X. An uncoated part (40) is provided in at least one of the discharge areas (50, 51, 52) by intermittently discharging the positive electrode mixture slurry.
