Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing a high-quality electrolytic aluminum foil having excellent peeling characteristics from a cathode surface. This method for manufacturing an electrolytic aluminum foil comprises a step for depositing an aluminum film on the surface of a cathode in an electrolytic vessel, which is provided with the cathode and to which electrolytic fluid is fed; and a step for peeling the deposited aluminum film from the surface of the cathode to obtain an aluminum foil, the method for manufacturing an electrolytic aluminum foil being characterized in that the cathode has a surface roughness of 0.10-0.40 μm in terms of the arithmetic average roughness (Ra) and 0.20-0.70 μm in terms of the ten-point average roughness (Rz).
