Abstract:
A method of manufacturing tetrahedral-shaped extract bags (6) made from a sheet (5) adapted to manufacture the extract bags and formed as a tubular body to be filled with contents. In the method, the sheet (5) is alternately fusion bonded and fusion cut in directions crossing each other in a plan view to form first side seals and second side seals, and, while the first side seals and the second side seals are alternately formed, the insides of tubular bodies made from the sheet (5) are filled with contents. Rockable plates (91a, 91b, 91c, 91d) rockably installed inside the tubular body of the sheet (5) are rocked before each side seal is formed, and this forms each side seal with the seal portions alternately extended flat in their respective seal directions. Electromagnets (92a, 92b, 92c, 92d) or, alternatively, gas injections (nozzles (94a, 94b, 94c, 94d)) are used as drive sources for rocking the rockable plates (91a, 91b, 91c, 91d). The extract bags of a tetrahedral shape are manufactured without causing wrinkles in the seal portions.
