Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing extruded material of heterogeneous aluminum-carbon nanotube composite extruded material having improved corrosion resistance, and extruded material of heterogeneous aluminum-carbon nanotube composite manufactured thereby, the method comprising the steps of: (a) manufacturing an extruded material comprising an heterogeneous aluminum-carbon nanotube composite; and (b) forming a hard oxide film on the surface of the extruded material by anodizing the extruded material in a mixed solution of sulfuric acid and oxalic acid. According to the present invention, a hard oxide film, which has a thickness of at least 100 µm, is firm and exhibits excellent corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance and insulation properties, may be formed on the surface of a heterogeneous composite (extruded material of heterogeneous carbon nanotube reinforced aluminum matrix composite) which is known for being difficult to hard-anodize unlike existing general aluminum material due to a difference in corrosion properties, and thus the utilization of the heterogeneous composite may be notably improved.
