Abstract:
This method for manufacturing fibrils comprises: step (A) in which a fibroin containing a domain sequence represented by formula [(A)nmotif-REP]m is solubilized with a solubilizer to obtain a solubilization solution; step (B) in which the solubilization solution is diluted until the concentration of the solubilizer reaches the concentration at which aggregates of the fibroin are formed, and said concentration is maintained to thereby produce a suspension containing fibrils; and step (C) for recovering the fibrils produced in step (B).
