Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing a filler-containing molded resin article having good properties. First, (a) the following are prepared: an extruder 1 comprising a cylinder 11, a screw rotatably disposed within the cylinder, and a rotational actuation mechanism for rotating the screw; a plunger 3 connected to a distal end of the extruder 1; and a mold connected to the plunger 3. Next, (b) a thermoplastic resin is fed into the cylinder from a hopper 13 provided upstream of the extruder 1 and is melted to form molten resin; (c) a filler F is fed through a feed throat provided downstream of a first feed throat, and the molten resin and filler F are mixed to form filler-containing molten resin; (d) the filler-containing molten resin is accumulated in the plunger 3, then injected into the mold; and (e) the filler-containing molten resin injected into the mold is hardened to obtain a molded article.
