METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A FILM-SHAPED CATALYST

Provided is a method for manufacturing a film-shaped catalyst, which involves: a process in which the film-shaped catalyst is manufactured by forming a catalyst layer on one or both surfaces of a support; a process in which the film-shaped catalyst is bent; and a process in which the film-shaped catalyst is cut as necessary. In the bending process, two gears are used as bending tools, said gears arranged to face one another so as to mesh, and bending is performed with a protective layer having a compression ratio of 40 to 95% placed in between the catalyst layer of the film-shaped catalyst and the two gears.
