Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a film for a thermoelectric conversion element wherein a film-self-supporting property is ensured, and the thermoelectric conversion element can be made to exhibit a sufficiently excellent thermoelectric conversion performance. A method for manufacturing a film for a thermoelectric conversion element according to the present invention includes: a step for forming an untreated film using an untreated film composition containing a carbon nanotube, an insulating polymeric material, and a conducting material; and a step for obtaining the film for the thermoelectric conversion element by bringing the untreated film into contact with a treatment liquid, wherein the value DA/DB is 0.5-0.9 exclusive, where DB (g/cm3) is the density of the untreated film, and DA (g/cm3) is the density of the film for the thermoelectric conversion element.
