Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a folded multi-channel flat tube, comprising the following steps: bending bent sections at both sides of a material strip to form a side of a preformed channel; bending the bent sections at both sides of the material strip once more to form the other side of the preformed channel; forming multiple preformed channels; bending both ends of a forming material strip to form a formed end portion channel; bending the multiple preformed channels towards one side surface of the material strip to form another preformed channel; continuing to bend the multiple preformed channels to the side surface of the material strip to enable the multiple preformed channels on the side surface to form formed channels; and then bending the multiple preformed channels towards the side surface of the material strip to enable the multiple preformed channels on the other side surface to form formed channels, so as to form a flat tube. The multi-step forming process effectively prevents the material from breaking during forming due to excessive deformation.
