Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing glass products that includes a step of collecting volatiles from exhaust gas that is generated when melting a glass starting material, and recovering and reusing recycled material including the volatiles, the method allowing the improvement of recovery efficiency to be achieved. The method for manufacturing glass products includes: a starting material melting step S01 of melting a glass starting material M of an alkali-containing glass; a volatiles collecting step S02 of collecting volatiles by bringing into contact with water exhaust gas which includes the volatiles and which is generated when melting the glass starting material M; a magnesium compound adding step S04 of adding a magnesium compound X to the volatiles collected by a collecting liquid La and an electrostatic precipitator 30 to produce an admixture liquid Lc; and a spray drying step S05 of drying the admixture liquid Lc and recovering a recycled material R that includes the volatiles.
