Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing glass structure pieces by cutting a glass structure, whereby glass structure pieces are efficiently manufactured at a high accuracy. The method according to the present invention for manufacturing glass structure pieces, whereby glass structure pieces are manufactured by cutting a glass structure provided with a thin glass, comprises: step A for forming standby lines for cutting, said standby lines defining an area to be cut having corner portions, in the thin glass; step B for stacking a carrier film on the glass structure to form a laminate b; and step C for conveying the laminate b while bending the same in the thickness direction along a conveying roll and thus cutting the thin glass to thereby give glass structure pieces. In step C of this method, a corner position a, which is one of the corner positions in each area to be cut, is allowed to enter first, within the corresponding area to be cut, into the conveying roll while controlling the plane view angle between each of the two sides joining at the corner position a and the axial direction of the conveying roll to 5° or greater.
