Abstract:
This method for manufacturing a glass tube includes a washing step for washing the inside of the glass tube (11) having openings at both ends comprising a first end (12) and a second end (13). In the washing step, sublimable solid particles (carbon dioxide solid particles (SP)) are jetted from a jetting nozzle (N1) toward the opening at the first end (12) of the glass tube (11), whereby foreign matter (fine glass powder (GP)) inside the glass tube (11) is discharged from the opening at the second end (13) of the glass tube (11).
