Abstract:
In this method for manufacturing a grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet, the grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet is manufactured by: hot-rolling a steel slab, which has a component composition comprising, by mass%, 0.02 to 0.10% of C, 2.5 to 5.5% of Si, 0.01 to 0.30% of Mn, 0% to less than 0.010% of sol. Al, 0% to less than 0.006% of N, a total of 0% to less than 0.010% of at least one kind selected from S and Se, and the balance Fe and inevitable impurities, after the slab is heated to a temperature of 1,300˚ C or lower; carrying out one pass of cold-rolling or two passes of cold-rolling with annealing therebetween to obtain a cold-rolled sheet having a final sheet thickness; applying primary recrystallization annealing doubling as decarburization annealing to the steel sheet; coating the steel sheet with an annealing separator; and applying finishing-annealing to the steel sheet; wherein during an annealing step before the cold-rolling for achieving the final sheet thickness, the steel sheet is cooled from 800˚ C to 400˚ C at an average cooling rate of 15˚ C/s or higher after subjected to a soaking treatment, and a low-temperature heat treatment is subsequently carried out to hold the steel sheet at a temperature of 60 to 100˚ C for 30 to 600 seconds.
