Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a heat exchanger is provided with: a forming step for forming a heat transfer tube (30) by rolling a metal sheet (31) into a roll shape; a diameter expanding step for inserting the heat transfer tube (30) into a through hole (42) formed in metal fins (40), loosening the metal sheet (31) rolled into a roll shape, expanding the diameter of the heat transfer tube (30), and bringing a tube outer surface (30A) of the heat transfer tube (30) into contact with a hole wall (42A) of the through hole (42); and a joining step for joining the rolled and overlapped parts of the metal sheet (31) that has been rolled into a roll shape after the diameter expanding step.
