Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing an aluminum alloy material having excellent high-temperature strength. In this method for manufacturing a heat-resistant aluminum alloy material, a continuous casting material is subjected to a heat treatment, and is thereafter subjected to plastic working to thereby obtain a heat-resistant aluminum ally material in which the aluminum crystal grain length is adjusted to 250 μm to 2000 μm by a cross-line method, the continuous casting material comprising an alloy composition of Cu: 3.0-5.5 mass%, Mg: 1.1-2.5 mass%, Ni: 0.6-2.6 mass%, Fe: 0.5-1.5 mass%, Mn: 0.1-0.4 mass%, Zr: 0.01-0.3 mass%, Si: less than 0.3 mass%, Ti: less than 0.06 mass%, and remainder: Al and unavoidable impurities.
