Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a high-performance thin film composite separation membrane through post-solution treatment. In the present invention, Ra, which is a new yardstick for activation solvents (difference in Hansen solubility parameter between activation solvent and polymer), and boiling points of the activation solvents are suggested, whereby the activation solvent thus selected can be used to implement the performance of reverse osmosis (RO) levels to nanofiltration (NF) levels, and a thin film composite separation film having fouling resistance thanks to inorganic salts and chemical resistance to acid in addition to high water flux can be manufactured.
