Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a high-strength molten zinc plated steel sheet having a high-strength-elongation balance with superior plating adherence and surface appearance. This method comprises a first heating step wherein a steel sheet with a prescribed component composition is heated to a temperature range of 800 – 950°C in an atmosphere with an H2 concentration of 0.05 – 30.0 vol% and a dew point of 0°C or less, a first acid washing step wherein the steel sheet after the first heating step is acid washed in an oxidizing acidic aqueous solution and washed with water, a second acid washing step wherein the steel sheet after the first acid washing step is acid washed in a non-oxidizing acidic aqueous solution and washed with water, a second heating step wherein the steel sheet after the second acid washing step is maintained in a temperature range of 700 – 900°C in an atmosphere with an H2 concentration of 0.05 – 30.0 vol% with a dew point of 0°C or less for 20 – 300 seconds, and a step for molten zinc plating of the steel sheet after the second heating step.
