Abstract:

A hollow molded article (1) is formed by laser welding a container (2) and a lid (3) for tightly closing the container (2), and the hollow molded article (1) has a configuration in which the container (2) and the lid (3) are each an injected molded article produced from a formation material containing thermoplastic resin and respectively have gate marks (2x, 3x) formed during injection molding, the thermoplastic resin has the property of being oriented in the flow direction in the molten state thereof and solidified, the whole gate mark (2x) of the container (2) is located on the outer surface or bottom surface of the container, but with the distance from the center of gravity of the bottom surface of the container (2) to the outer periphery of the bottom surface as a reference, is present in a position other than an area at two-thirds or less of the distance from the center of gravity, and the whole gate mark (3x) of the lid (3) is located on the upper surface, side surface, or lower surface of the lid, but with the distances from the centers of gravity of the upper surface and lower surface of the lid (3) to the outer peripheries of the respective surfaces as references, is present in a position other than areas at two-thirds or less of the distances from the centers of gravity of the respective surfaces.
