Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a hot press molded product comprises a step for preparing a member for hot pressing with a one sheet part and a two sheet layered part wherein a second surface treated steel sheet on the surface of which is formed a Zn-Ni plating layer is welded to a first surface treated steel sheet on the surface of which is formed a Zn-Ni plating layer, a step for heating the member for hot pressing to a temperature range from the Ac3 transformation point for the base steel sheet for the first surface treated steel sheet to 1000°C, a step for obtaining a molded body by setting the temperature of both the one sheet part and the two sheet layered part of the member for hot pressing to less than or equal to the solidification point of the Zn-Ni plating layer of the first and second surface treated steel sheets and greater than or equal to the Ar3 transformation point for the base steel sheet for the first surface treated steel sheet and initiating press molding of the member for hot pressing, and a step for holding the molded body sandwiched by a mold at molding bottom dead center, quenching the molded body, and obtaining a hot press molded product. The sheet thickness ratio for the member for hot pressing is 1.4 - 5.0.
